Jenner gets charged in fatal crash

Investigators have remained neutral and do not plan to recommend misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges be filed against Jenner, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Detective Curry told KTLA.

She was, however, unable to stop on time which caused her to hit two cars – a Lexus and a Toyota Prius.

The Lexus driver, 69-year-old Kim Howe, was killed when her auto was struck head-on by a Hummer.

Caitlyn Jenner could face a manslaughter charge in a fatal February vehicle crash in California after investigators determined she was driving too fast, officials and law-enforcement sources said on Thursday. “Now, it would be a felony if the speeding was excessive, but in this case, it really wasn’t”, said attorney Dana Cole, a legal expert not involved in the Jenner case.

But it was through marriage to the former Kris Kardashian that Jenner once again became a household name with the reality TV series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians“, appearing as the sometimes bemused stepfather of her flamboyant daughters.

Vomhof said Jenner’s celebrity probably ensures that that the presentation detectives will make to prosecutors next week will be based on rock-solid evidence and an exhaustive investigation. I am petitioning God for them.

“The results of the investigation is that speed was a factor, considering the existing traffic conditions”.

Kim Howe was the woman who died in the crash, passing away from the incident at the age of 69.

Caitlyn Jenner could be charged with manslaughter following her vehicle accident in Malibu, Calif. earlier this year that left one dead.

The families of the victims sued Jenner, who was known as Bruce Jenner at the time.

Jenner last month received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY Awards for her bravery for publicly coming out as a transgender woman.

But Cait’s lawyer is pushing for the lawsuit to be thrown out, arguing neither stepchild depended on Howe and were actually estranged from Howe at the time of her death.
