Because the KB3081424 update does apparently include recent code (some of the files have early August release dates), it’s fair to say that most PCs will receive something new. No new build has been released in the last one month as Microsoft focused to deliver the operating system to desktop and laptop computers and is now busy with bug fixing. The bad guys exploit these confusions in several ways, mostly through massive phishing campaigns and with criminal call-center operations which claim to be Microsoft tech support. Therefore, this package contains all previously-released fixes (see KB 3074683). If you recently updated to Windows 10, some of these updates may have already been part of your upgrade.

This is no doubt good news for those who want to use WhatsApp within the browser on Windows 10 and use Edge for this objective, but they’ll have to wait for a bit for it becomes a reality.
