Was just looking at the changelog and it looks really impressive – the list of changes is massive.

As of now, although the new patch has been confirmed by Momot and the game’s developer, there’s actually not much available in the way of specific details regarding what it will be bringing to “The Witcher 3″.

“Working to have it (changelog) posted as soon as possible but it won’t happen before October”. The update will bring a lot of fixes and improvements including PS4 performance (as well as other platforms) plus many more.

Having said that, an extra reason to get back to The Witcher 3 is good enough, which is why it’s still such an exciting prospect, and knowing CD Projekt Red, Heart of Stone probably won’t disappoint.

The patch itself won’t be out until October, so we will likely here more over the next two weeks as we lead up to the launch of the Heart of Stone expansion on the 13th.

A delay in new patches is to be expected with the release of the game’s DLC, Hearts of Stone, set for October 13. “And even now, if you sum up this 10 to 20 hours and you compare it to ‘The Witcher 2, ‘ it’s nearly the size of ‘The Witcher 2.’ And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy”, he continued. The new patch will be fixing bugs such as the one concerning camera problems that occur during horse animations inside the game.

CD Projekt RED states, “The expansion lets you choose your own way through an adventure that includes recruiting a crew of break-in artists, spending a night partying with a ghost and outsmarting the most freakish creatures Geralt has ever faced”.
