New York Lottery Issues ‘Wanted’ Posters for $7 Million Ticket Holder in

New York State lottery officials are searching for the victor of a $7 million jackpot whose ticket is about to expire-and they think a stick-figure “wanted” poster is the key to finding that person.

The lottery player, who apparently has no idea how lucky she is, bought the winning Cash4Life ticket on July 24, 2014 at Milky Way Deli on Ralph Avenue in Brooklyn.

The winning ticket bears the numbers 05 – 20 – 35 – 43 – 48 and the Cash Ball number 03.

The jackpot would make the deli patron a millionaire at $7 million, but he or she only has a couple days to come forward since prizes can be claimed only up to a year after the drawing.

On Wednesday, lottery workers posted the signs around Bedford-Stuyvesant, hoping that their amusing design will catch the eye of someone who knows the name of the victor.

The lottery has canvassed the neighborhood around the Milky Way with “Have You Seen Me?” and “Is This You?” fliers in a last-ditch effort to locate the would-be millionaire. The efforts have been in vain. The ticket holder has until Friday to claim the prize.

The ticket holder is encouraged to call 518-388-3370, visit one of the New York Lottery’s customer service centers in Manhattan and Long Island, or visit the lottery’s website to find out more. But, for the mystery ticket-buyer, Friday marks the time late becomes never – and that never becomes forever.
