Most Earth-like Planet Found

NASA’s discovery of Earth-like planets in distant solar systems is exciting, but NASA this past week also unveiled a dazzling photograph of the most valuable piece of real estate in the entire galaxy: Earth.

The astronomers are extremely passionate about the exposure of the Earth-like earth and so are looking to work out more information regarding it, despite being a to date far from the earth. “While its mass and composition are not yet determined, previous research suggests that planets the size of Kepler-452b have a good chance of being rocky”, NASA officials report on their website. It’s just a little older.

“This would correspond to a stronger gravitational pull, capable of drawing in a thick atmosphere to create a potential runaway greenhouse effect, which means that the planet’s temperature continues to climb”.

“We can think of Kepler-452b as an older, bigger cousin to Earth, providing an opportunity to understand and reflect upon Earth’s evolving environment”, said Jenkins.

The nearest star is only 93 million miles away. Scientists do not know if Kepler-452b can support life or not. Water on our planet allows plate tectonics to occur and that process has been crucial towards the development of more complex organisms on Earth. Researchers aren’t certain that it’s a rocky planet, an essential element.

Could Kepler-452b be another Planet Earth
