Turns out the pizza delivery driver was trying to reach Vegas because he’d accidentally given Vegas a wings box with $1,300 that he planned to deposit at the bank after making his final delivery of the day.

This Domino’s delivery dropped off much more than what a Berkeley, Calif., man ordered.

Mike Vegas received the pizza, but his wings box was instead filled with cash. The Berkeley man said after eating one slice of pizza, he put the rest in the refrigerator along with the wings box.

While occupied with work, Vegas’ phone suddenly began going off with phone calls and text messages from a number he didn’t recognize.

“About 5 a.m., I got home from work and went to my refrigerator and pulled out what I thought was wings”.

“I think it’s 666 here and 632 here, about $1,300 total”, he said.

In the end, Vegas returned the money to his local Domino’s, and was offered a delicious reward. Some said he should keep the cash.

So when he went to return it, Domino’s in return offered him free pizza for a year. “I was going to sit at home and enjoy my relaxation”.

Vegas, who told KGO he worked as a pizza deliveryman as a teenager, said he took to Facebook with his quandary of what to do with the cash.

“I wanted to keep it, believe me”. Vegas added that he’s just glad no one got in trouble.
