Is Google Provoking Apple Discreetly — BMW Alphabet

Internet domain name specialist CentralNic (LON:CNIC) said the recent hike in its share price was likely due to media comment on the news search engine giant Google has taken up one of its domain names. Within a new day, news emerged that the Alphabet was banned in China and now, an interesting domain troll is making people fall about laughing.

While many would have considered selling alphabet.com to Google as their golden ticket to the Willy Wonka chocolate factory, BMW just doesn’t care. CentralNic is the exclusive global wholesaler for.xyz, receiving a share of revenues for all.xyz domains registered.

Although Microsoft doesn’t claim responsibility for the alleged attack with the abc.wtf domain name, but Whois entry, which locates IP servers, clearly shows the domain registered from an IP location belonging to the Redmond-based company.

If you think this is a small part of BMW’s services, you’re wrong.

BMW have responded to Google’s Alphabet restructure by publishing an A to Z of its fleet management services provided under it’s Alphabet brand.

This isn’t a side project for the German company, and chances are that Google, or better yet Alphabet Inc., should just lick its lips and move on.
