Apple has confirmed an “invitation only event” in San Francisco on September 9, where it is expected to unveil its next generation iPhone.

The event will be held in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, where has 7,000-person seating capacity.

Also according to many rumors, the new iPhone 6s devices might incorporate Apple’s new Force Touch technology directly into the smartphone’s display, which might be used for all sorts of shortcuts.

Apple will launch its newest range of products, including the most-coveted next generation of iPhones.

Recent reports also claims the tech giant could be planning to release another handset just months later. There were also rumors that Apple would launch a cheaper variant – iPhone 6c – at the event. You won’t want to miss it. You can also follow along with Apple’s live-stream of the event here.

Apple fans can already use a variety of two and three fingered gestures to control their device, but adding pressure sensitivity would add a whole new layer of complexity. The addition of 4K video recording on the rear camera will be new to Apple, although multiple manufacturers in the mobile industry now have devices that are capable of this. Scheduled exactly a year after introducing the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, this year’s launch is the “S” cycle, which means there will not be major upgrades. An iOS-powered Apple TV would likely feature its own version of Siri.

Apple today has sent on invitations to select members of the press for a special media event to be held on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015.
