Motorola refreshes Android phones, offers better cameras

The Moto X Style has a 5.7in screen with a 2560×1440 pixel resolution, but Motorola claims it’s no bigger in the hand than a 5.5in iPhone 6 Plus or 5in Galaxy S6 due to its compact design.

Finally, Motorola also announced an update to its low-cost Moto G smartphone, which goes on sale Tuesday.

The Moto G resembles a mini Moto X Style/Pure Edition and that’s not a bad a thing.

That gets you a 13-megapixel rear camera, an “all-day” battery and a handset that’s IPX7-certified for water-resistance.

The listing also confirms the model ID AP3560AD1K8 and the device will be available with dual SIM slot option. But a phone with its features may appear under the Droid brand on Verizon Wireless nonetheless, the way last year’s Droid Turbo was known elsewhere in the world as the Moto Maxx.

Moto G (gen 3) Launched by motorola in India with ultramodern features and with advanced technology and look.

The Moto X Style will sell at a price of Dollars 399 and will be available in September in the US. The base model comes with 8 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM; you can upgrade to 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM for $40 more. Unfortunately there are no plans to bring the Play to the U.S. yet, but that could change.

The Moto X Play will be available starting next month and though no pricing has been announced, they do promise it’ll be way cheaper than the competition. It’s got “only” 2GB of RAM and has two internal storage options – 16GB and 32GB.

While the screen size is less, the battery in the Moto X Play is at 3630 mAh, which Motorola says give up to to 30 hours usage.

So it has 4G/LTE connectivity as standard but runs absolutely no bloatware or unnecessary apps, offering users a pure form of the latest version of Android instead.

The Moto G 3 Gen is expected to be the first Motorola device to come with the company’s new Moto Maker service.

This fall you’ll be able to buy a Moto X Pure Edition for $400 and use it on any US wireless carrier. Adrienne Hayes, Motorola’s head of marketing, said this would translate into two days’ worth of battery life.
