Master Chief won’t take his helmet off in Halo 5: Guardians

Master Chief will not reveal his face in Halo 5: Guardians, 343 Industries has said. The playlist will include the following game types: “Halo 3: “Braaaains, Creeping Death, Save One Bullet, Hide and Seek, Speed Demons; Halo 2: “Anniversary: “Infection, Cadre; Halo 4: “Flood, Hivemind, Last Stand”. With a protagonist/antagonist setup between Master Chief and Spartan Locke being featured as the core of the game, Master Chief being unmasked could have fit into the plot nicely.

The development team is also planning to make some tweaks to maps and modes in order to improve the overall game experience.

Nearly certainly what Master Chief actually looks like.

Halo 5: Guardians will release on October 27 for Xbox One. Not to mention the character’s aura might change if people know more about what he looks like. We’ve had several full shots of John-117 in his younger days, but we’ve only ever had one real glimpse of the man behind the helmet.

That said, there has definitely been a different kind of mystery associated with it all- fans do want to see their hero unmasked; the thrill of it is sort of like what Metroid fans feel when they consider Samus without her Varia suit, no doubt.
