Hecking reveals De Bruyne knock

Kevin De Bruyne could miss Wolfsburg’s German Super Cup clash with Bayern Munich this weekend after picking up a knock in training.

Wolfsburg appear reluctant to sell the 2014-15 Bundesliga player of the year with the club’s sporting director, Klaus Allofs, insisting that they would only be willing to sell the player for an “extraordinary offer”.

He was just as impressive for the club in the 2013/14 season and despite only making 16 appearances, he still created 50 chances, which was the second most at Wolfsburg.

However, his exploits has not gone unnoticed, with Manchester City heavily linked with a move for him this summer.

“But we are not even considering swapping any one”.

De Bruyne himself has had his say on the transfer saga, stating: “I have no idea where I will play next season”.

De Bruyne has also caught the attention of clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, but Wolfsburg have no intention of letting go of the former Chelsea man unless a big-money offer comes in.

As reports intensify over a move to the Etihad Stadium, Hecking added: “You would have to see what’s happening between the clubs”. If there will be a transfer, I will have to explain that “why” afterwards.
